Growing up on Vancouver Island, I have always enjoyed fitness, the outdoors and healthy living.  What began as a passion for training evolved into taking instructors' courses for group fitness and advanced to both Strength Training and Personal Training certification.  I have recently completed my Holistic Nutrition Certification at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN).  I am enthusiastic about educating individuals on the importance of balance between healthy eating and exercise to establish an optimum lifestyle. 

Prior to starting a family (I have two boys, Jaxon and Jace, ages 19 and 17), I worked for a private company training clients in the gym and their private homes.  Once the boys were off to school, I was finally able to realize a dream and create a home studio dedicated to fitness and wellness. I run indoor and outdoor bootcamps every season with amazing people in beautiful Cobble Hill, BC.

Through Athletica, I strive to help people discover their best selves through fitness, nutrition and healthy living.  I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals and to realize the long term benefits of eating well and taking care of their bodies from the inside out.  I love what I do - from the training itself to working with amazing people to witnessing the transformation that comes about naturally when you start to take care of your body. 

Personally, I love to hike, bike, run, high-intensity interval train (HIIT) and practice yoga.  Whether we are working one-on-one or at a boot camp sweating as the sun goes down, your sessions will incorporate these passions into a comprehensive workout that never bores.
